Jacqueline Kennedy maternity dress from 1960, worn during an interview with ''LIFE'' magazine as the wife of the Democratic presidential candidate, and accompanied by two ''LIFE'' photographs of her wearing it. Lightweight wool dress in charcoal grey has eight double-breasted buttons and three-quarter length sleeves, with ''Lord & Taylor'' and ''Ma Mere'' tags sewn within. According to the LOA from Mary Gallagher, secretary to JFK and Jackie, the dress was given to Gallagher during a closet-cleaning session. Large photographs show Jackie with Mary Gallagher at 3307 N St., NW in Washington DC, where the couple lived before moving into the White House. Dress measures 45'' long. Photos measure 13'' x 10'' and 9'' x 13.25'', with ''LIFE'' stamps on both. Two small holes on front of dress, otherwise dress is near fine.
