In part, ''Sir: This Ship is now ready for sea - The British ships of the Nook are the Daphine & Atalante...Stephen Decatur / Comm: John Rodgers''. Single page letter measures 7.75'' x 9.75''. Corners affixed to mat, and .5'' separation starting along one fold. Overall very good condition. With an engraving of Decatur.
