Poignant letter by a Ravensbrueck Concentration Camp inmate named Roman Kask, prisoner number 63654, who was likely housed in the adjacent men's wing. Dated 28 November 1943, German letter translates in part, ''...I feel healthy and lively. I have received your package...thank you very much for everything. The best things to send me are bread and lard...I send you all the warmest and best wishes of the Lord. I am always with you in my heart...'' On official camp stationery, listing rules of the camp in German. Single-page letter shows addressee on verso to Praga, located near Warsaw, Poland. Letter measures 5.25'' x 7.75''. Half-inch hole at center with closed tears, otherwise in very good condition.
