The printed invitation bearing a gilt presidential seal is for a 10 January 1924 event, less than six months into Calvin Coolidge's succession to the presidency following Warren G. Harding's death. It requests the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Fenning; the matching envelope is included, addressed to the couple by an unknown hand. A printed parking pass to the Northwest Gate of the White House accompanies. Invitation measures 5.5'' x 4.75''. Toning, else fine. Pass measures 4.5'' x 3.5''. Near fine.
