This sturdy steel case is from the presidential election that almost brought America to a standstill. The box was used to transfer the ballots in Palm Beach County during the disputed 2000 Presidential election that ultimately led to the election of President George W. Bush. Includes ballot handling instructions and an unused ballot count chart. A label on top of the case dictates the sealing procedure to prevent vote tampering. Each case also has a unique three digit serial number. An amazing piece of election history.
