Harper Lee autograph letter signed, dated 15 December 2006, from Monroeville, Alabama, the author's hometown and the reported setting for her famous novel ''To Kill a Mockingbird.'' Written in black ink on personal stationery, letter reads in full: ''Dear Don: Something scrumptious never fails to arrive at this address! Of course Three Georges is the best there is, for which Alice + I thank you much (can't see, drat it). Hope you are well situated at your new address, which will take me some getting used to. All good wishes for a great season. Love, Nelle''. Two page card-style letter, measures 5'' x 3.5'', with ''Nelle Harper Lee'' professionally printed on front. Includes original postmarked envelope. Near fine.
