The first star of talkies, legend Al Jolson signed contract with Warner Brothers. "The Jazz Singer" signs "Al Jolson" sharply in black ink, selling the rights to the German musical "Die Wunderbar" to Warner Brothers on 6 October 1933. A record of Jolson's original acquisition of the rights from Irving Ceasar is also included. Typed contract totals 9pp. and measures 8" x 13". Creasing and punch holes to top edge. Near fine.
