Samuel Goldwyn signs this two page contract dated 24 April 1946 regarding Alfred Hitchcock's thriller "Shadow of a Doubt," considered by critics to be his finest film. Contracts reads in part, "…loan to you of the services of Teresa Wright in your photoplay entitled 'SHADOW OF A DOUBT'. By agreement between you (Universal Pictures) and Samuel Goldwyn Inc…[signed] Samuel Goldwyn". Goldwyn discovered Teresa Wright in the stage play "Life with Father". 8.5" x 11" contract has some light toning and creasing. Near fine.
