Original pictorial souvenir book for the Summer Games held in Los Angeles from 30 July to 14 August 1932. Cover features iconic Grecian discus thrower and reads: ''Xth OLYMPIAD / LOS ANGELES / 1932'' above Olympic rings. Bottom of cover reads: ''OFFICIAL PICTORIAL SOUVENIR'' while stamp inside cover reads: ''PREPARED AND ISSUED BY / THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE''. 63 page black & white book contains fantastic vintage photos of California landmarks including the Huntington Library, the Mann Chinese Theater, Catalina Island, Yosemite, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and the Hollywood Bowl. Also contained are overhead pictures of various venues including the Los Angeles Swimming Stadium, the Rose Bowl, Riviera Country Club and UCLA. Olympic committee information, historical background and full program included as well. Cover measures 9.25'' x 12.5'', attached booklet measures 9'' x 12''. Light wear to cover, overall in very good condition.
