1799 New York inquest regarding the death of a Thomas Nill. Document is signed by the New York Coroner, Charles Dickinson, as well as witnesses who submitted first hand accounts under oath. One excerpt reads, ''Very much liquor on Sunday night and supposed to have fallin, by which his death was occasioned...'' One-page document measures 7.5'' x 12.5''. Toning and staining throughout and chip to left side, otherwise in very good condition with bold writing.
