First edition duodecimo hardcover runs 268pp. with tissued frontispiece and four black and white portrait photographs. Chapters include: ''The Juvenile Templars'', ''The Constabulary Force'' and ''State Liquor Agency.'' Mild wear to corners of black cloth boards. Ex-libris copy with bookplates, stamps and pencil to backstrip and endpapers. Small stains to several pages; two pages detached. Good condition.
