Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem ''The Song of Hiawatha''. Published by Ticknor and Fields: Boston: 1855, the poem chronicles one man's fascination with a fictional Native American hero. Bound in brown cloth boards with abbreviated title ''Hiawatha'' written in gilt lettering to spine. Runs 316pp. and measures 4.75'' x 7.25''. Minor shelf wear, toning and light damp staining to board edges. Very good.
