Dr. Seuss autograph letter signed "Ted", written to Gerald Harrison, president of the children's literature department at Random House. Undated letter reads in part: "Dear Jerry:…My hunch is that this book will sell to an older age-group than My Book About Me…I feel the humor in this book should not be in editorial comment. But by illustration and surprise juxtapositions and by a few weirdo autographs for the kids to collect…" Three page letter, on two sheets, measures 8.5" x 11". Near fine.
