President Franklin Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor pair of White House invitations. Dated in 1939 and 1940, invitations are addressed to Mr. and Mrs. George T. Bye, Eleanor's longtime literary agent. Additionally includes six separate cards, including the pink entrance tickets to the dinner, and also postmarked envelopes. Invitations measure 5.75'' x 4.75''. Minor toning and foxing to both, overall very good.
