Olympic relay torch used in the 2010 Winter Olympics. The Torch Relay tradition began in 1928 and transports a spark from the parent flame in Olympia, Greece to the host city in time for the opening ceremonies, in this case Vancouver. Elegant white torch bears Vancouver logo and Olympic rings on center and contains silver metal casing that reads, ''WITH GLOWING HEARTS'' in English and French. Comes with official gray cloth case, as well as official outfit to be worn by the torchbearer on the relay route. Outfit includes a white, green and blue size XL windbreaker, a ''one size fits all'' white knit hat and red knit mittens. Torch measures 37'' and weighs 3 lbs. 3 oz. Torch valve has been cut, minor scuffs and very minor crack to handle, casing is slightly loose near top, but overall very good condition.
