Edward VIII hand signed holiday card from 1913 to his great aunt Charlotte, Her Majesty the Queen of Wurttemberg. Signed by Edward VIII as the Prince of Wales, card translates from German to ''For Aunt Charlotte / from / David'', David being the name used by his family. Paper card is bound with black and white ribbon and includes Magdalen College Oxford crest on front (where he was studying at the time). Comes with original envelope, addressed by Edward. Inside flap of card with inscription has become unglued but remains attached, otherwise near fine condition.
