Tex Beneke autograph arrangement of ''Lazy Bones'', a song written by Johnny Mercer and Hoagy Carmichael in 1933. 11 pages of sheet music labeled ''TEX BENEKE ORCHESTRA'', with top sheet labeled ''LAZY BONES / (TEX VOCAL)'' in black felt and ''#47 Lazy Bones'' in pencil. Sheets are done in pencil and contain stamp that reads: ''Henry N. Mancini / DATE 17 Dec. 49 / Composer-Arranger''. Each sheet measures 18'' x 14'' and includes parts for Saxophones, Horns, Trumpets, Trombones, Guitar, Piano, Bass and Drums. In addition to Mancini, Beneke also played for Glenn Miller and sang on the very first record to sell one million copies, ''Chattanooga Choo Choo''. Toning, one vertical fold to each sheet, minor folding to corners, overall very good condition.
