Redd Foxx lot of four contracts spanning from 1964 to 1970, with interesting racial content, perhaps related to one of his comedy routines. This 1967 contract for a performance in Philadelphia has handwritten notes on verso reading, ''HOUSING - RELATIVE TO INCOME / NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT / GHETTO LANDLORDS / URBAN RENEWAL'' and ''CIVIL RIGHTS PASSAGE - WATERED DOWN''. In another contract, Foxx hires Lionel Moore (Billy Moore Trio) to perform as his opening act at the Loser's Club in Los Angeles in 1964. Contracts each measure 8.5'' x 11''. Very good condition. From the Redd Foxx estate.
Lot of 4 Contracts Signed by Redd Foxx From Early in His Career, With Handwritten Notes Reading ''GHETTO LANDLORDS'' and ''CIVIL RIGHTS PASSAGE - WATERED DOWN''
