Dr. Seuss autograph letter signed upon his personal stationery, to a local teacher Diddo Clark. Dated 12 March 1972, Seuss writes, ''Dear Diddo: Thanx for the amazing Bert Hubbell Sculpture pic. which I do want to see in the flesh along with that House. On Apr. 9 If possible. But you know about me. I'm at present, involved in the enclosed Grolexus, which is whirlzing me fithither and may or may not set me down in La Jolla in the vicinity of the 9th. If you'll call me on the phone just prior to that time, and silence answers, I'll be in N.Y. Thanks... hopes... and... very best...Ted.'' He writes the entire letter in blue felt tip marker. 1pp. on pale blue paper measures 7'' x 10.25''. Staining to verso and a spot of toning to lower left, else near fine.
