Insurance policy and receipt for Ernest Hemingway's famous home in Cuba. The company El Globo insured 3 buildings on the grounds of Finca Vigia (translated as ''Lookout Farm''). ''MR. ERNEST M. HEMINGWAY'' is printed on both pieces of paper, dated 8 July 1960 and 15 July 1960. Receipt is for the home's yearly premium, totaling $179.16. Both documents are written in Spanish and signed by 2 employees of El Globo. Policy also has raised company stamp in bottom left corner. Policy measures 8.25'' x 11'', receipt measures 8'' x 5.5''. Both pieces have horizontal folds and minor discoloration, but in overall very good condition.
