Lot of 25 Mary Astor signed checks, each filled out in her hand and signed ''Mary Astor''. She began as a silent film attraction and successfully segued into talkies, eventually starring in 1941's ''The Maltese Falcon'' opposite Humphrey Bogart. Each check is printed with her name in the upper left and dates from 1975-1977. All measure 6'' x 2.75'' and bear standard bank cancellations. Some creasing, else lot is near fine.
