Bayern Munich defeated Girondins Bordeaux 5-1 in aggregate goal scoring in the two match championship played on 1 May and 15 May 1996. Medal features the three-player logo, name of the tournament and year ''96'' on one side, and a larger version of the three-player logo on reverse.
