Marilyn Monroe's personally owned and worn black velvet floppy hat with upturned brim. Originally auctioned by Christie's as lot 293 in the October 1999 sale, ''The Personal Property of Marilyn Monroe'' sale, hat is accompanied by a striking photo by Roy Schatt of Marilyn wearing it. Hat label reads, ''Original Design by Madcaps New York.'' Tear in hat lining, otherwise near fine.
