Breathtaking autograph book containing 84 signatures from early 20th century composers and musicians. The signatures were gathered from 1919 to 1922 by Adele Goldmark, niece of the esteemed composer and teacher, Rubin Goldmark, whose pupils included George Gershwin and Aaron Copland. Notable signatures include: Sergei Prokofiev who signs in both Russian and English, Sergei Rachmaninoff, considered one of the finest pianists of all time, and acclaimed tenor, Enrico Caruso who accompanies his signature with a sketched self portrait. Other signatories: Efrem Zimbalist, Franz Kneisel, Elena Gerhardt, Josef Hofmann, Augustus Thomas (with self portrait sketch), Pablo Casals, Melanie Kurt, Harold Bauer, Fritz Kreisler, Duncan Campbell Scott, Jascha Hefeitz, Mischa Hefeitz, Kurt Schindler, Cornelius Rybner, Adolf Bohm, Stephen Leacock, Efrem Zimbalist, James W.
