Dated 26 June 1955 and postmarked from Paris, Toklas writes to a Mr. and Mrs. Perpes, ''...What kind people you are to remember me. It and your faithful return to the 6 page de votre predilection touches me...He [Carl Van Vechten] has been in the week since then probably recovering for there hasn't been a line from him, Have a happy summer, And thank you a lot for the pretty postal...Alice Toklas''. Lightly toned postcard with a Raoul Dufy painting print measures 5.75'' x 4''. Very good condition.
