Land grant signed by President James Monroe on 8 November 1821. Partially-printed document grants 160 acres of land to one Richard Tyner at the United States land office in Brookville, Indiana. Monroe signs his name to lower right of vellum document, which measures 16.25'' x 10''. Folds and toning, but in exceptionally good condition for a vellum document of its age.
