Black and white photograph, taken by Capote's cousin Jennings Carter, features a smiling Capote embracing his favorite aunt Mary Ida Faulk Carter. Matte photo is tucked into a paper card-style mat bearing the name of the Vantone portrait studio. Measures 4'' x 6''. Near fine. The same photograph from Vantone Portraits is currently exhibited at the Monroe County Heritage Museum in Alabama.
