Inaugural program for the 20 January 1949 ceremonies, the first to be televised. 72pp. program includes biographies of President Harry Truman and Vice President Alben Barkley, schedule of ceremonies, line-up of the inaugural parade and a list of inaugural week events. The front and back covers feature the new Presidential Seal design which made its debut during this inauguration. Measures 8.25'' x 11.25''. Some fading and chipping to cover. Very good condition.
