''The Philadelphia Gazette and Daily Advertiser'' 18 February 1801 edition, falsely reporting the Presidential election of Aaron Burr, approximately 150 years before the ''Chicago Tribune'' made the same error with ''Dewey Defeats Truman''. Newspaper includes table of votes in the House of Representatives suggesting Aaron Burr had won the 1800 election over Thomas Jefferson. Paper, measuring 13'' x 20'', runs 4pp. Toning, pin-size holes and chips at borders not affecting content. Very good condition.
