Beautiful white linen bedspread, used on a bed in a stateroom at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England. The bedspread was given to the castle's upholsterer by the superintendent of Windsor Castle upon Queen Victoria's death in 1901. Double size bedspread features a Royal coat of arms, as well as a rose thistle and shamrock design throughout, incorporating the central shield of Queen Victoria. Label stitched to one corner of the bedspread contains the Windsor Castle logo and room number 349 printed. Measures 114'' x 100'' . Light scattered staining. Very good.
