Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, Duchess of Teck, autograph letter signed. First cousin to Queen Victoria, Mary Adelaide was the mother of Victoria Mary who married the future King George V and became Queen Mary. Dated 25 April 1890, letter upon White Lodge (a royal residence) stationery is lined in black for mourning. Reads in part, ''...I enclose the tickets for the concert on the 13th of June with the plan of the Hall...'' The Duchess signs, Mary Adelaide''. Letter runs two pages. Slight soiling to 4'' x 6'' card-style stationery, else near fine.
