Lot of 100 personal checks signed by legendary screen siren ''Mary Astor'', each made out in her hand. Most checks are printed with Astor's name and address at the Mulholland Drive actor's retirement home, where she moved in 1971. Over the course of her lengthy career Astor won an Academy Award and performed memorably opposite Humphrey Bogart in ''The Maltese Falcon''. Checks date from 1971 to 1984. Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', they bear standard cancellations, in near fine condition.
