Charlie Gehringer handwrites an undated letter on his Gehringer & Forsyth engineering business letterhead. The Hall of Famer responds to a request from a Mrs. O'Brien: "…It would be rather unreasonable of me not to grant such a simple request…so enclosed you will find an old time autographed photo…my thanks for your support at a recent party…I guess you bored everyone to the extent that you may not receive another invitation…" Minor creasing and soiling to 7.25" x 10.5" single page letter; very good condition.
