Former Nazi, Albert Speer typed letter signed, dated 1 November 1972. Speer writes of Hitler in this letter to American acquaintance Elaine Lincoln, in German: ''...many thanks for your offer to send me the book of Langer. I wouldn't know what to do with it; I have my own view [handwritten] of Hitler and don't want it to be altered through such a text, because I myself am a 'source'. Among others here a few weeks ago was Professor Erich Fromm the Psychoanalyst to collect information...[signed] Albert Speer''. Folded document on Speer's personal stationery measures 8.25'' x 11.5''. Lightly toned, else near fine condition. Original envelope and full translation included.
