Attractive conceptual drawing created for the 2000 renovation of the famous Disneyland ride, ''Pirates of the Caribbean''. Originally opened in 1967, the ride had a major overhaul in 2006, as characters from the ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' film series began to be incorporated into the ride. Drawing is done in ink on rice paper by artist Michael Hobson and depicts a pirate ship at center, surrounded by pirates pillaging a town on one side and Disneyland park-goers filling up ships for the ride on the other. Measures 17'' x 14''. Tape residue to edges, else near fine.
