A lot of one hundred personal checks signed by legendary screen siren ''Mary Astor''. Each check is made out in her hand in the 1970's-1980's. The majority are printed with her name and address at a retirement community, Leisure World, in Laguna Hills. Citing boredom, she moved to the famous movie business retirement home on Mulholland Drive. A portion of the checks bear her address there. Over the course of her lengthy career Astor won an Academy Award and performed memorably opposite Humphrey Bogart in 1941's ''The Maltese Falcon.'' Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', checks bear standard cancellations and are in near fine condition.
