Unused press ticket for 22 November 1963 ''Texas Welcome Dinner'', the day of JFK assassination. The dinner honoring President and Mrs. Kennedy and Vice President and Mrs. Johnson, scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. in Austin's Municipal Auditorium, did not happen because the assassination tragically occurred first. The 2.5'' x 6'' ticket to the Press Section in the balcony is in fine condition.
