Horror Hall of Fame induction award bestowed upon legendary sci-fi personality Forrest Ackerman. The Horror Hall of Fame existed and held an awards ceremony for just three years, from 1989 to 1991. Trophy consists of a sculpture of a faceless cloaked figure standing on two layers of steps, with an empty cauldron positioned at the figure's feet. Made of silver or pewter tone metal mounted to a grey marble base. Statue is engraved in the marble with Ackerman's name and the name of the award, with the date of 26 September 1990. Accompanied by a nicely framed 5'' x 7'' color photo of Ackerman holding the award. Statue measures 12.5'' in overall height. Base measures 5.75'' across the front and 4.75'' along the sides. Weighs 6 pounds 5 ounces. Near fine. A rare award presented to a science fiction icon. Provenance from Earl Roesel, assistant to Ackerman.
