Vivien Leigh citation of merit bestowed by the Lincoln Square Academy. Award is dated 6 June 1966, the year before her untimely death from tuberculosis. Certificate is signed by the academy's director and president, inlaid in wood with gilt border to an overall size of 10.5'' x 12.5''. Near fine. From the Sotheby's auction of Leigh's property, held 15 & 16 December 1993 in New York, lot 437.
