Dated 2 August 1915, just four years after Standard Oil was found to be in violation of the Sherman Anti-trust Act, letter addressed to one Mrs. DeLapp on his personal stationery reads in part, ''I thank you for the kind words of greeting on my birthday, which I cordially reciprocate. I am pleased to hear of Mr. DeLapp's enthusiasm in connection with his agricultural studies...[signed] John D. Rockefeller''. Single-page letter on card-style stationery measures 5.75'' x 7.75''.
