Scarce signature by ''Pistol'' Pete Maravich, the all time college basketball scorer. Maravich signs a game program between the Vanderbilt Commodores vs. his own LSU Tigers dated 14 February 1970. The college basketball legend inscribes the cover featuring four images of Mararvich in action, ''Boo, It was an honor for me to be on your program 'Pistol Pete'''. Maravich's life ended with tragedy as he died at age 40 playing a pick up game; signed items by him are quite rare. Program measures 7.75'' x 10.5'' and runs 44pp. Some portions of inscription lack contrast, written over the darker portion of the program. Near fine condition.
