The 10'' x 8'' document, issued 20 June 1947, reads, ''This certifies that Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr. has satisfactorily fulfilled the requirements for graduation from the Montclair High School as prescribed by the Board of Education and is entitled to this Diploma...''
