Franklin D. Roosevelt typed letter signed, dated 5 December 1928. Letter is typed on Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland stationery where Roosevelt was Vice President, and is addressed to a Hevlyn Benson, reading in full: ''I am sorry I did not have opportunity to write you before to thank you for your kind letter and for the map of Greenwich Village and a part of Lower Manhattan. They will be very useful. I hope your membership in the Holland Society will be of benefit to you.'' Signed ''Franklin D. Roosevelt'' in black ink. Single page letter measures 7'' x 9.75''. Very good condition with uniform toning.
