Signed interview titled "Solving Life's Mysteries" reads in part: "Question: The TV program also reports on the proposed genemapping project called The Human Genome Initiative. Why do you support the project? / Watson: DNA provides the information that makes possible our existence…There are really two basic forms of diseases that human beings suffer. One is infectious disease, and the other is genetic disease -- a disease which results from imperfections in our genetic instruction.
