Earl Warren signs a typed letter, dated 2 August 1948, as Governor of California. The three time governor and U.S. Chief Justice writes on official California letterhead to a Barnet Nover at "The Denver Post": "It was a great pleasure to see you during my trip to Denver, and I want you to know that whenever you get out to California, I hope you will visit me in my office at Sacramento." His large signature reads, "Earl Warren". 7" x 10.5" letter is in fine condition.
