Bruce Lee's striking shield used onscreen by Lee in ''Return of the Dragon'', filmed during the last year of his life in 1972. Convex-shaped padded shield features a yellow cover made of canvas, with grey nylon handles on the back. A grip made of green vinyl tubing surrounds one handle for comfort. Measures 11.75'' across, 19.5'' tall and 2.75'' thick. Significant wear and a tear to the uppermost edge and evidence of exposure to moisture, else very good. Quintessential Lee, from the Herb Jackson Collection. Jackson is well-documented as Lee's friend and Jeet Kune Do protege from Los Angeles, in whose possession much of Lee's training equipment was left upon his fateful move to Hong Kong. With a COA from Jackson's son.
