Nike Olympic Games jacket worn by pole vaulter Brad Walker in the US Nationals in 2012, where he won first place. Walker also competed at several Diamond League events in this slick silver garment by Nike, whose sports gear he endorsed until he had a very public falling out with the company. The brand reportedly dropped him as spokes athlete after he covered the swoosh on his shoes with tape for a televised competition. Walker immediately divested himself of all his Nike paraphernalia by way of eBay auctions, a move that garnered media attention and from which this jacket has been procured. Jacket features a US Olympic Team patch on the left breast and American flag patch on the left sleeve and retailed at Niketown for $400. Jacket zips up the front; size XL. Some crinkling and wear from use and washing, else near fine. With a COA signed by Walker and a 4'' x 6'' color photo of Walker competing, also signed, in gold ink.
