Richard Nixon first edition of "In the Arena: A Memoir of Victory, Defeat, and Renewal" signed by the former President. Simon & Schuster: New York: 1990. Inscription upon the fly-leaf reads, "To Duke Rose / With best wishes from Richard Nixon / 7-1-92". In this 369pp. volume, Nixon writes about the greatest successes and deepest disappointments of his political career and personal life. The 6.25" x 9.5" book with unclipped dustjacket bears the blindstamped initials of previous owner Duke Rose upon the title page. Overall near fine.
