Document signed by French General Jean-Baptiste Meynier upon First French Republic parchment paper, dated 1796, the fourth year of the Republic. Here, Meynier signs a service record for a soldier of the 3rd Battalion, then serving in the Italian campaign. Signed ''General de Division / Meynier'' at middle right; also signed by several officers of the Battalion. Measures 8.5'' x 12''. Intersecting folds, light soiling and wear, overall in very good condition.
