"The Buffalo Enquirer" from 8 September 1901, two days after Leon Czolgosz shot President William McKinley at a Buffalo event. Front page health bulletins are optimistic, though McKinley would die from his wound on the 14th. Another article with the headline, "X-Ray Machine Coming From Edison", reports on Thomas Edison filling a rush order for a machine to X-ray the President. Separation to folds of 17" x 23.75" twelve page newspaper, else very good condition.
